Antonio Cafasso has always been interested in media, whether it is web design, producing live radio, or producing short films and television, he leaps at any chance to work with a camera or microphone.
He is one of the founding members of Fluffy Sheep Productions, back when the boys decided to enter the 48 Hour Film Project in October, 2008. The only prior media experience he had was co-hosting a community radio show on SYN (www.syn.org.au) in early 2007, called The Aristocrats.
Since the 48 Hour Film Project, Antonio has been volunteering for RMITV, crewing on the long-running motorsport show 'In Pit Lane' (www.inpitlane.com) and working on several television pilots still in development. He is also currently collaberating with a friend on a community television project intended to air on C31 Melbourne in September, 2009.
Antonio's experience was also furthered through studying the Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Systems) at RMIT University (currently in second year). He occupies a lot of his time watching television shows, and going through a large back catalogue of films he's wanted to watch since he was 15. He hopes to take the Australian Television Industry by storm, taking inspiration from the likes of Roving Enterprises and Working Dog.
Antonio would like to give a big shout-out to Peter Burton.
